Cypress Classroom

Our Lower Elementary classroom is an eclectic Montessori-inspired program. Our lead teacher is an experienced Montessori Guide who has worked in both elementary and primary classrooms. Children will be guided to utilizing Montessori materials that are created with an elementary student in mind. These materials build upon the Primary lessons and add a deeper understanding to the lesson at hand.

You are your child's teacher and are ultimately in charge of their education. Parents of Lower Elementary students will typically spend a few hours per week on homeschool instruction outside of co-op. Your child's teacher will communicate with you about your homework preferences.

Children in Faith's Lower Elementary classroom are suggested to have prior Montessori experience. All students will be required to follow simple instructions, and work independently, as well as in a group setting. We ask that families of the children in our Lower Elementary class spend time researching the Montessori philosophy and how to implement it at home in concert with the child's time at co-op.
