Montessori Work Cycle

Activities

Arrival & Greeting

Children transition into the classroom and begin choosing their own work.

Independent Work Time

Children explore hands-on materials in areas such as Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, Art, and Culture.

Individual & Small Group Lessons

Guides give presentations based on each child's readiness and interest throughout work time.

Snack Time

Children prepare and enjoy a healthy snack for themselves, practicing independence and grace and courtesy.

Outdoor Nature Exploration

We love spending time outside together! When the weather is nice, we move parts of our classroom outdoors—bringing lessons and exploration into nature.

Clean-Up & Closing Circle

The morning ends with community time, songs, stories, and reflection before pickup.
